How does our Charitable Partnership fundraising opportunity work?
A non-profit charitable organization interested in raising money for their organization can take advantage of our charitable partnership program. This partnership allows charities to raise money for their organization, simply by encouraging business owners within their organization to advertise on our website. After registering with our company, each qualified and approved charitable organization will be assigned a unique, “charitable organization marketing code number”. This number is used to track the organizations fund raising sales.
How does a charitable organization participate?
We will assist each charity in creating the most effective fund raising campaign. We offer both direct and indirect methods for charitable organizations to raise funds. Registered charitable organizations will notify business owners within their organization by any suitable and acceptable means of communication and explain the unique opportunity and economical advantages of advertising their coupon offers on our website for as little as $99 per year. This may be done by direct contact, email, telephone or by the distribution of our full color postcards that will be provided to your organization at no cost. Our unique method of tracking sales will insure each organization receives credit for all generated sales.
How does a charitable organization actually raise money?
Each advertising subscription sale generated by a charitable organization will result in a donation to their charity. Charities will receive 50% of all revenue generated by each merchant’s advertising subscription. We offer 1, 2 3 year subscription packages starting at only $99. Charities will receive $50 - $125 for each sale, depending on which subscription is selected by participating merchants.
Does a charitable organization receive a donation if a merchant renews their annual advertising subscription?
Yes! Each time a merchant who initially registered under a charitable organization renews their advertising subscription, the charitable organization will automatically receive another donation. In order for a charitable organization to receive donations for renewal subscriptions however, they must be an “active” charitable partnership. Charitable organizations are considered “active” charitable partnerships as long as they continue to actively distribute information on our partnership within their organization during our agreed timeframe.
How does the charitable organization track their sales?
Charitable organization representatives are able to utilize the “Affiliate Access” link located on the bottom left of our website home page. From this area, charitable organizations will be able to login and view sales that have been generated with their charitable organization marketing code number.
When will the charitable organization receive donations?
If funds for advertising subscriptions are collected by GreatDealsInMyCity.com® , we will pay charitable organizations once a month via PayPal or company check. If funds for advertising subscriptions are collected by the charitable organization, we will invoice the organization for 50% of the proceeds on the first of each month for all sales generated during the prior month.
Where does the charitable organization obtain marketing materials?
Upon registration approval, every charitable organization will be supplied with marketing materials. The quantity and type of materials will be determined by the amount of members within the charity. We will also provide the charity with optional electronic marketing materials suitable for email distribution within their organization.
Are there costs involved for the charitable organization to participate?
There is no cost to register or be part of our charitable partnership. The only costs associated with successful fundraising would be the cost of distributing any information to their members regarding this fundraising opportunity.
Are there minimum monthly sales requirements?
Although there are no minimum monthly sales requirements for charitable organizations, in order to be considered an “active” charitable partnership, the charitable organization must be actively participating in our partnership as previously outlined.
Is this opportunity available to all charitable organizations?
This opportunity is available to all non-profit charitable organizations that are approved by our company to participate in this partnership. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to deny any organization that does not meet our charitable partnership guidelines.
